CivFanatics user SpyFanatic recently announced what is likely to be the final release and iteration of the Master of Mana mod that turns Sid Meier’s Civilization 4 into a 4X fantasy strategy Master of Magic like experience. The journey began many years ago when modding legend & game dev Kael developed the Fall From Heaven Civ4 mods which spawned many other ‘modmods’ using the FFH2 template. One of them was known as Wildmana that pushed things in a more magical direction became the popular Master of Mana mod, which was then continued with MoM Xtended, MoM Updates, and finally SpyFanatic’s MoM Tweak mod merging all that came before in one standalone release. It’s also worth noting that one of the original Wildmana & MoM dev’s Sephi is working on a new MoM inspired game called The Red Desert of Cruoris at the moment too.
