The good people over at TurnBasedLovers have put together a list of the highest grossing turn-based games, no matter if strategy or RPG.
Unsurprisingly, this also does include some Civ titles, with Civ5 coming 4th, and Civ6 coming 2nd.
The list claims that Civ5 brought in $179 million on Steam, and Civ6 $358 million on Steam.
They guys put together the list themself, and they don’t cite their sources, so it’s unclear how reliable these numbers are. Given that Civ5 sold more than 8 million copies, this does not sound unlikely, but we cannot confirm this.
