In the article PCGamer writes about how Firaxis stumbled upon her by accident due to academic research by a professor, and how he as recruited for further consultancy. The legacy of Sayyida al-Hurra is impressive, but not well known, and the article also writes about how she came to power, was beloved by the people, and how her reign came to an end.
