Civilization Players Leagues Civ6 MP Podcast #4

By | October 9, 2017

This Friday, Oct 6th at 9 PM EST will be the 4th CivPlayers League Podcast. Here’s what were talking about this week!

Co-Hosts Sarnith and KingLewie, and guest Co-Host Esdeath bring you this weeks topics.

Here’s what we’re talking about this week!

• This weekend the 7th is kicking off the 1st weekend of the Tournament of Champions! This is a multi week event where players participating are required to play in at least 3 games. Once November 18th and 19th come for the finals, the top 3 scores for each player will be added up to determine who comes to the finals to duke it out! • Congratulations to Clan OP for Winning the TCL Tournament Grand Finals and walking away with $350! A well fought push by Clan SunZ who secured 2nd place in the tournament after both teams slashed through 2 other teams on their way to the top. Definitely was an exciting watch and even more so to see the Aztec’s not selected by either team!

• Civ Players League is now over 2500 Recorded Games, definitely a huge step forward with the league continuing to grow every day. A real testiment to this place being the best community to come and play Civilization 6 at. Players from all over the world gathering to have a good time, get away from the quitters and more.

• Upgrading your units in a city state you’re suzerain of and following up with a war declaration with those units the next turn in a “raze-only” format. This discussion being quite a point of contention – is it an exploit that shouldn’t be allowed with that rule voted for? Or is it perfectly fine?

• This weeks guest, Esdeath, will be going over some important topics and points such as how to best utilize builders, set up horse rushing effectively, using the right government policy cards, and more!

Civilization Players Leagues Civ6 MP Podcast #3

By | September 29, 2017

This Friday, September 29th at 9 PM EST will be the 3rd CivPlayers League Podcast. Here’s what were talking about this week!

Co-Hosts Sarnith and KingLewie, and guest Co-Host RippedPanda bring you this weeks topics.

• The TCL Tournament Grand Finals matches between Clan OP and Clan SunZ are occurring Saturday, September 30th at 1 PM EST and Sunday, Oct 1st at 6 PM EST. This will be a best of 3, and if a 3rd match is required teams will discuss scheduling at that time. Clan OP is being represented by Rahmj12, El Strecho [CPL], and Lyksy while Clan SunZ is fielding players BladeSe7en, -=SunZ=- HarambeV2 [CPL], and Phillyboy7987.

• A relatively new option to vote on has really picked up pace. Namely “Raze Only” for City States meaning you can’t keep them after taking them over. In addition to this, smaller Free for Alls and Duels have really started happening a lot more often in the community.

• The “odd” or “weird” shaped land masses in Pangaea, fractal, and even continents that have been occurring since the Nubia Patch. What changed and how did this happen?

• Hot topics from the community including the ability to Nuke your “friends” and “allies”. The use of Spy’s and how you can even mess up your so called friended and allied neighbors.

CivPlayers Podcasts are recorded live on Sarnith’s Twitch every Friday at 9pm EST  https://www.twitch.tv/sarnith
