FCiv.net – now with ChatGPT!

By | May 16, 2023

AI, in the form of image generators and large language models, are currently the hype. And ChatGPT has now also finally arrived for Civ fans! FCiv.net (an offshot of FreeCiv) has announced today that they have incorporated ChatGPT into their diplomacy engine.

Will we now see leaders realistically talking too each other? Or an AI, which will end a trade agreement in the next turn? It will be interesting to see how the current AI developments can improve Civilization!

The raffle for PocketCiv is over: Congratulations to the winners!

By | May 12, 2023

We just had a raffle for PocketCiv, which is a nice small civ-style game. We asked our users what they would like to have less in Civilization games, and then rolled the dice to determine the winner.

Our user Kyriakos won one copy, requesting less internal stability in Civ nations.

Our user chefofrats would like to see less of the fantasy related content like bermuda triangle and vampires.

And Twitter user Guardian Angels simply wants less barbarians.

Thanks to BMCGames for providing the keys! If you are now interested in this game, then join our discussion here.
