We are close to seeing the next live stream for Civ7, and are anticipating it. Our member “Emotional Husky” has made a video about the last live stream, discussing if the new mechanisms are something which the community is looking forward to, of if they are more skeptical if these mechanisms will work nicely together. How are you feeling? Let us know in the thread here.
During the Game Awards we got 2 new and very interesting videos. The first is the opening cinematic for Civ7, called “Rediscovering Hope”, which take you through a journey through time, war, culture and trauma. If you want to comment on the video, then join us in the thread here, but make sure to read the comments by Firaxis’ historian Andrew Alan Johnson here first.
The theme song is now also available. It has again been designed by the master Christopher Tin, and is indeed a very worthy title to open an epic game. You can discuss the theme with us here.
In roughly 3h from now the main theme for Civ7 will be revealed at The Game Awards. It’s again composed by the master Christopher Tin, and we are all very curious to hear it!
