For the mid-month Civ5 GOTM you play as Dido of Carthage on a standard size small continents map on Deity level. While you would certainly want to take a stab at Caesar, you have to win via a Diplomacy victory, and prevent all other civs from achieving another victory. Your deadline is April 15. CivBattleRoyale Season 4 (CBR X4) starting soon!
The Civ5 Battle Royale is huge but the concept of the show is pretty simple! On a massive world map, 61 AI Civilizations got at it to see which one can be the last one standing. All Civilizations are chosen by the audience of the civbattleroyale reddit group and part of the fun is helping narrate the story collectively along with original content and putting your support behind one of the competitors. No human intervention in the show as a several months long game is recorded and then curated into episodes across the action. Episodes are narrated by members of their 10k+ sized community cheering on the AIs on their unpredictable route to victory. Three seasons have been recorded so far, and the 4th one is about to start on March 20. If you are interested in following, then join us in our thread here.

Millennia Developer Diary – After the Demo
The demo of Millennia has been quite a success, and the devs have now published the first diary after the release. Well, not really a dev diary, but rather the list of recent changes, which should be meaningful for the players. The long list includes a bunch of graphical changes which are definitely visible in the new screenshots, and burried in the long list also some adjustments to the “Raiders”. Have a look at the long list here.
