Sara also gave us today some more info about the upcoming second part of the “Tides Of Power” DLC, this time introducing Iceland as a civ. Iceland is a cultural and militaristic civ with a starting bias for coastal tiles as well as tundra and grassland. Their abilities and civic tree are geared towards an interesting combo of naval units and culture production. They can also get a range of unique units with interesting abilities. Geoff Knorr, one of the creators of the Civ5 soundtrack, has announced today on Twitter that you can now find the whole Civ5 soundtrack online.

Sara also gave us today again good Civ7 news, by introducing us to the next civ which we’ll get via the “Tides Of Power” DLC, the long expected and wanted Ottomans! The are a militaristic and cultural civilization, which Firaxis has geared towards siege warfare and a big empire. The unique unit is obviously the Janissary, but we also get a barbary pirate unit. Play the Civ7 “Game Of The Month” #12

The “Game Of The Month” is a community challenge, where we dare you to play game of Civ7, and show us that you are better than the rest of the civ-fanatics!

For December, we have gotten you another one of these challenges. The prepared savegame starts you as Lafayette of Rome. For the GOTM we require you also to take Spain for the exploration age, and Mexico for the modern age. You play this game on “Sovereign” level with light disaster intensity, with most of the other options being standard. You need to go for a Science victory, and after that, the minimum amount of total turns to finish will be used for scoring.

Old World update #141

Mohawk Games, the developers of Old World, have released the latest update for their game! This update includes that you cannot any longer hire Barbarian units, that civilian units defend cities, units with leader generals are immune to control effects, as well as a long range of smaller changes and bugfixes.
