And we are now at the 13th dev diary for Ara: History Untold.
In this episode the devs talk about the insider program of Ara, and explain what it is, which probably nobody here really surprises at the end ;). More interestingly in our thread there is now also a discussion about the civs and leaders in Ara, and some non-standard choices like the Abbasid caliphate over an Arab civ, or the Holy Roman Empire over a German civ.

Kull’s Civ Call To Power 2 Apolyton Edition Cradle 3+ Upgrade Project

Other than the occasional tinkering with the Apolyton Edition of Call To Power 2 there’s not many CTP fan projects still going these days. However long time Civ community member Kull has been working over the last year or so on making the popular Cradle 3+ mods compatible with the Apolyton Edition of CTP2 while also making a huge amount of bug fixes, new gameplay improvements and even new custom terrain/city/unit graphics & animations. Recently he’s been posting about adding new custom wonders that appear on the surrounding city map titles (Civ6 style). There’s no playable release yet but any lurking CTP fans can find more links, pictures & info here.

New (mid-)month, new Civ6 game, just in time for the Christmas holidays! This time you play as Gorgo of Greece on a standard size pangaea map with low sea level and low resources on Emperor level. You also get some disasters and corporations, and you need to win via a culture or diplomatic victory. You can take this challenge until January 15! For more information please check this thread.

New Old World DLC announced: Wonders & Dynasties!

Mohawk Games, the developers of Old World, have announced a new DLC, called “Wonders & Dynasties”. This DLC will add 30 new leaders, 8 new wonders, and probably a lot more things. The DLC is scheduled for January 11. Discuss this DLC with us here.

For the already regular players, a new update, #117, has been released. This update contains e.g. changes to the competitive mode and the loading screens. You can check the full update here.

Old World is currently available in the Epic Store, on GOG and Steam.
