Soren Johnson’s talk from the GDC of 2022 has now been released on Youtube.
He talks obviously about Old World, about Civilization and how Old World is similar and different, and about issues of the 4X genre in general.
He also talks about the decision to include characters and a kind of story into the game.

Mohawk Games, the developers of Old World, have released the latest update for their game. This update includes, among other things, bugfixes, 2 new events, a new map of the Roman Empire and a donut map script. Discuss this update with us here.
Old World is currently available in the Epic Store, on GOG and Steam.
TurnBasedLovers has released a new article, “Top 10 EXCITING Turn-Based Games to play in 2023!”. The list features upcoming games for the next year (obviously). The most interesting game for the Civ community is “Ara: History Untold“, but also Mahokenshi, Songs of Conquest (already in early access) or Alliance of the Sacred Suns should be interesting for us.
