It’s again time for our monthly challenge, and this time it’s a big one! You start as Gandhi of India on a normal size continents map on Monarch level. The challenge comes with the special GOTM adjustments: You start with one settler on each continent, with 2 archers for both, and with 100 gold. Your choice to settle both continents or only one. You need to bring this setup to world domination (or any other victory) until December 8.

Another game of interest for the Civ community has become available (early access): Civitas.
This game is a real-time city builder, focused on the medieval and renaissance era. It is also a sand-box game, with procedural maps. Means you are free to build whatever you want, on randomly generated maps.
While not directly a civilization builder, it seems this game could be interesting enough to keep an eye on.
Discuss this game in our forum here.

The event is hosted by Nystagmus, Moysauce and PeppermintButler.
We hope that also CivFanatics will do their share to reach the 75 000, and we hope that this will again be an enjoyable event!
New month, new game! In this iteration of the “Game Of The Month” you play as Theodora of Byzantium on a standard size small continents map on Emperor level. PolyCast is a bi-weekly audio production recording live every other Saturday at 12 Noon US Eastern Time throughout the year, in an ongoing effort to give the Civilization community an interactive voice.
Episodes have been delayed again by not one but 2 different variants of COVID infection occurring in early September lasting until around the fifteenth and four days ago in October. I’m currently doubled over at my desk working on this, but since i had it edited, i figured i should release it. Others will follow when health improves.
