The developers of Old World have just announced a tournament, the 2025 community tournament. Up to 14 games will be played in a double-elimination system. All games will be recorded and commented by experienced players. It seems it possible to sign up for eternal glory (or also just to get notifications) via Discord here. All games will be played in September, depending on the availability of the players.

Civ6 music composer Geoff Knorr has announced on Twitter that now 38 additional songs are available, which were missed on various streaming platforms in the original release.

Makeship has announced on Twitter that they now have 2 official Civ7 plushies for preorder: Confucius and Benjamin Franklin.
Each plushie costs $29.99, with the following dimensions:
Confucius: Height: 19.0cm, Width: 12.0cm, Depth: 10.5cm
Benjamin Franklin: Height: 17.8cm, Width: 14.0cm, Depth: 11.4cm
They are expected to ship in the middle of December this year.

Oxide has released the latest patch for Ara, version 1.4.
This patch comes mostly with smaller fixes and changes, like e.g. AI improvements for formations, both Otto von Bismark and Wu Zetian got a bug fix, a few changes to the tooltips, and more. For the complete list, please see the link above or check the thread in our forum here.
The newest patch for Civ7, patch 1.2.4 has arrived, and it comes with a massive list of changes. This includes a big rebalancing of wonders, improvements to AI, age transitions, the UI and more. If you want to know more, then check our thread here.

In the ancient times of 2023 we reported about a small 4X game called “Theocracy”, and today the author passed by to tell us again something about it. Marcel was inspired by Civ2 to create a 4X himself, so he did that. The game itself is not a traditional 4X as you know it, as it focuses on religion, how to spread it and dominate other cultures with it. You can also summon creatures from various religions and cast disasters and miracles.You compete with other theocracies to convert the pagans and heretics, which are spread over the world.
The game also comes with old-school graphics, and therefore should run on most modern PCs.

Last month Elemental: Reforged was announced, and now the first few dev diaries are available.
Elemental: Reforged is less of a new title really. It is a remake of the old 4X game Elemental: War Of Magic (designed by CFC member Kael), merging in the best mechanics from its successors Fallen Enchantress and the side off shot Sorcerer King. The game will come less with new graphics (Stardock saying they use old assets), but rather with a gameplay overhaul.
